Two Kinds of People on Planet Earth | Matthew 25:26

[00:00:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Everybody welcome back to Daily Truths when you get right down to it. There are two different kinds of people on Planet Earth

[00:00:13] [SPEAKER_01]: We can categorize them in two different categories. Number one, those people who say when great things happen in their life

[00:00:21] [SPEAKER_01]: and they accomplish great things and they do great things and they're successful and they're ambitious and all these different things

[00:00:28] [SPEAKER_01]: What do we hear them say? I did it. I get the credit, I worked hard, I get all the glory. They may not say that but they think that

[00:00:38] [SPEAKER_01]: The other person, the second person are those who understand that everything they have, especially the gifts and talents they have all come from God

[00:00:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And so when great things happen and they accomplish great things for their own purposes or for the purposes of others, what do they say?

[00:00:56] [SPEAKER_01]: They deflect, predant, praise and honor off of themselves and on to God. Why is that?

[00:01:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Because they know he's the one who's worthy of all the praise and glory that he could ever receive.

[00:01:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Listen what the Book of Matthew chapter 25 says. Now remember, we're in the parable of the talents, one guy receives five, any doubles it,

[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_01]: one guy receives two, any doubles that one guy receives one and he buries it right? And then this is what the master said them but his master answered him you wicked and thoughtful servant

[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_01]: You knew that I read where I have not shown and gather who have scattered no seed. In other words, I'm the one who gave you the talent

[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_01]: And because I gave it to you and you were to use it to the purposes of other people and for your own purposes, but at the end, I receive all the glory

[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Because I'm the one who gave you the seed in the first place. You planted it and I'm the one who reaps the benefits. What's the application?

[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_01]: The application is quite simple. Whatever good that you have in your life, especially the gifts and talents that have been given to you by God

[00:02:06] [SPEAKER_01]: To do whatever it is that you do in life, whether it's making a living, whatever vocation you've chosen, being a parent, being a husband, being wife, whatever you are and whatever you do, it all comes from God.

[00:02:20] [SPEAKER_01]: And you can be one of two different people. You can say, look what I've done or look what he's done. This person, this servant just buried the talents that he gave the God had given over the master given him and he didn't use it to benefit the master.

[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_01]: We use the gifts and talents that God has given us to benefit the master to serve the master Jesus Christ. I started this out by saying, there are two different kinds of people in the world.

[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_01]: One who says, look what I've done, the other who says, look what he's done which person are you.
