The Silencing of Unbelievers | Matthew 22:34

[00:00:00] We'll truth, Daily. This is Daily Truths with Dave Ahlman But when you give a proclamation of the gospel, when you talk about what Jesus has done, when you talk about that there is a God who created heaven and earth

[00:00:38] and who sent His Son Jesus to die and rise again for you. When you say that stuff often times we're ostracized but down neglected, nobody will listen, they'll tell us to shut up and so forth and so on. So when will the roles be reversed? Here's the thing,

[00:00:55] when Jesus comes back, the Bible says every niche will bow and tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. When will tongues who are wagging today saying there is no God, when will they be silenced? When Christ comes back. Remember we're in Matthew chapter 22

[00:01:13] and Jesus has had a conversation with the Sadducees who denied the resurrection who denied the immortality of the soul who denied the existence of angels and spirits who denied the coming of the Messiah. They denied a lot of stuff and Jesus basically

[00:01:30] put them in their place and listen to what this says in verse 34 but when the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced, there's the key word, silence the Sadducees they gathered together. In other words, they had something to say to Jesus even though he had

[00:01:48] pretty much put the Sadducees in their place so they were silenced because what Jesus has said the affirmation he gave but who God is and what he had done. So on that last day, when Christ

[00:02:01] comes back those were agnostics, atheists, skeptics about the faith they will be silenced. And yes they'll have to acknowledge that Jesus is the Christ the Sadducees of the living God. Here's the thing we have an opportunity every day to tell people about Jesus and yes there may be

[00:02:22] people around as they say stay quiet, don't talk about him. You don't need to profess his name and all that kind of stuff but we can't be silent right? You know on daily truths that I'm not

[00:02:35] silent about so many things that our culture that are happening today that that someone must speak about. I encourage all of us to be very boistress. Is that a word boistress or is it boistress?

[00:02:48] Is it to be boistress? About who Christ is and why he came and what he did. We need to tell people about Jesus. We need to be very forthright in proclaiming the gospel because if we're not

[00:03:03] on judgment day people who stand before Jesus will be silenced and in awe of His presence. But because of their neglecting and rejecting Him during their lifetime they're going to be cast away

[00:03:15] from His presence forever and we don't want that. So my friend, the time to be silent is not now. The time to be boistress and proclaim what Christ means to us is now. So do it with authority,

[00:03:30] do it with boldness, do it through the Holy Spirit's power and let the world know. The Jesus Christ is way the truth in the life and no one comes to the Father except through faith in Him. That

[00:03:42] is today's daily truth. Have a great day in the Lord Jesus Christ.
