What Astonishes You About God? | Matthew 22:33

[00:00:00] We'll truth, Daily. This is Daily Truths with Dave Ahlman And what does it say as very spasped what Jesus has done and said, it says this in verse 33 of Matthew 22. And when the crowd heard it, they were astonished at his teaching. Again,

[00:00:45] by his knowledge, interpretation, application, the things you said about marriage or resurrection of the dead, they were telling you the soul. They were blown away by how articulate Jesus was, how smart he was and how he was able to put the sadacies in their place. I asked

[00:01:03] this question here in just a few minutes ago, what is it about God that astonishes you? We're on vacation right now and we're in the area of Grand Junction and we're in Edwards,

[00:01:13] Colorado yesterday. I spent a little time in Vale and I am just blown away. Hey, how beautiful this state is a state of Colorado. But secondly, that the same God who created all these different things all around us is the same God who dispatched his son to

[00:01:30] platter to save us. I am amazed and astonished by that. I'm astonished that God has blessed me so abundantly. And as I look at my life and as you look at your life, you can see

[00:01:43] blessing after blessing after blessing. And you can say, God, why have you been so good to me? It's not like we deserved it. It's not like we earned it. It's not like God took

[00:01:52] it. Look at us and said, well, you're a pretty good person. I'm going to bless you with a lot of things. No, no, no, no, it's all by God's grace. And so when I look what God has done for me,

[00:02:01] especially through his son, I am astonished. When I think about how amazing it is to think about where I'm going to go when I pass on to be in eternity in heaven with our Lord Jesus,

[00:02:14] I'm astonished by that. I'm astonished that the Lord has done so many amazing things in my life taking me to various churches where I was able to share the word of God and minister to people

[00:02:26] and I love those congregations were. I am astonished by that. I'm astonished by so many blessings that God has given me. And do you know what? I bet you can say the same thing. You can look at your

[00:02:38] life and say, God has been so good to me and I am astonished by how good he's been to me. So I like you know in your comments, comment section down below. What is it that astonishes you about God?

[00:02:55] And you could say, well, everything about God astonishes me. But what in particular does God astonish you about? I'm sure you can come up with something I would love to hear about that. And who knows maybe if something really penetrates my soul and ministers my heart,
