[00:00:00] We'll truth, Daily, This is Daily Truths with Dave Ahlman

[00:00:07] Everybody welcome back to Daily Truths. How many times have you heard of somebody having

[00:00:12] a party and they send out invitations and only a few come? So many are called but few

[00:00:17] actually accept the invitation RSVP and come to the party. The same thing could be said

[00:00:23] about church. All people are invited, come to church but relatively few accept the invitation

[00:00:29] and come to church. Jesus said these words in Matthew 22 verse 14, many are called but few

[00:00:38] are chosen. When you think about that many are called into the family of God. They're given

[00:00:44] an invitation to accept Christ's Savior and be a part of the family of God. God wants all people

[00:00:51] to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. For God's love the world that He gave

[00:00:55] is only because God has only been sent. That whoever believes in Him should not perish but have

[00:01:00] everlasting life. Jesus said, Go either for and make disciples of all nations so many are called

[00:01:07] everybody is called to be a part of the family of God. Many are called but few are chosen.

[00:01:14] In other words very few relatively speaking, comparatively speaking, accept the invitation

[00:01:21] to be a part of the family of God by the power of the Holy Spirit. Here's the thing,

[00:01:25] you by the power of the Holy Spirit have accepted that invitation. You feel guilty about your sin,

[00:01:32] Jesus died for his sin and so they're forgiven. You're someday going to be laid to rest,

[00:01:37] you're going to die but you have by faith in Christ eternal life because of Christ. You're afraid

[00:01:42] of God. You don't need to be afraid of God. You love God because He loved you first and gave

[00:01:48] his son as an atoning sacrifice for your sin. This is good news. This is what the Bible says.

[00:01:55] Broad is the path and why does the gate that leads to eternal destruction and many are on it?

[00:02:02] But little is the gate and narrow is the path that leads to eternal life and relatively few are on it.

[00:02:11] If you believe in Christ, if you've repetitive your sin and put your trust in Jesus,

[00:02:17] you're one of the few, you're one of the chosen, if you will and how blessed you are to know that heaven is your eternal home.

[00:02:27] Your sins are forgiven, your child of God, your peace with the Father and everything that you face in life, you never face alone.

[00:02:35] Here's the thing, if you don't have a relationship with God, if you're not one of the chosen,

[00:02:42] if you've not received and accepted the invitation, here is the invitation to you today. God loves you.

[00:02:50] He said his son, Jesus, to die for you and to rise again for you and because he did that,

[00:02:57] your sins can be forgiven and the gates of eternal life can be opened to you. So here's the

[00:03:04] invitation, repent of your sin, put your trust in Jesus, know that he lived and died and rose again so that you have eternal life

[00:03:15] and have your sins washed away. My friends, the invitation is extended to you today and by the power of Holy Spirit,

[00:03:25] may you accept it. Oh, I love this passage, many are called but few are chosen.

[00:03:32] Everybody's invited to be the part of the family of God but relatively few have accepted the invitation.

[00:03:39] May you accept that invitation today by the power of the Holy Spirit and then your life will take on

[00:03:47] more meaning, more significance, more purpose than ever before. Oh, my friend, let it be so

[00:03:55] and let it be done to the glory of God's holy and saving name. And that is today's daily truth,

[00:04:03] have a great day in the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for tuning in to daily truths with
