[00:00:31] The doctoral integrity of many theological institutions is being compromised, coupled with

[00:00:37] secular humanism being taught in our public educational institutions from kindergarten all the

[00:00:43] way through college as a result of that what do we see?

[00:00:47] A lot of lawlessness used to be that people would say we aren't going to have sex together

[00:00:53] until we're married.

[00:00:54] That's not a practice anymore.

[00:00:56] These people live together before marriage, why?

[00:00:59] Because their own ethical code is dictating how they should live.

[00:01:04] We have a lot of people saying abortion on demand is perfectly fine because we're protecting

[00:01:09] the reproductive rights of women.

[00:01:11] We have open borders today and if people cross our border illegally it's no big deal.

[00:01:17] Not only that but secular humanism is taking over in San Francisco for instance what

[00:01:23] we see people steal stuff and if they stole less than a thousand dollars worth of property

[00:01:29] they get a slap on the hand not only that but then they turn around and they do it again.

[00:01:35] What is happening in our culture?

[00:01:37] We're seeing a love for God in his word growing cold.

[00:01:42] As a result of that what do we do?

[00:01:45] What we can ring our hands and become upset but remember what Jesus said in this text

[00:01:50] as things continue to deteriorate here in our culture.

[00:01:55] What are we going to see?

[00:01:56] A lack of love for God and a lack of love for his word and a lack of love for other people.

[00:02:02] We live at a very independent, me-oriented selfish society that says I'm the one that dictates

[00:02:09] how I want to live and what I want to do and no religious institution and definitely not

[00:02:14] the word of God is going to tell me how to live my life.

[00:02:17] Why?

[00:02:18] Before and I'll say it again is because most people don't look at the truth of God's

[00:02:23] word as a rule-in-normant guide for living.

[00:02:27] Most people cast it aside and say that's old fashioned, it doesn't apply to me, that's

[00:02:32] in our cake book, it's written by men.

[00:02:34] What do we believe?

[00:02:35] We believe the Word of God was written and inspired by the Holy Spirit who spoke through

[00:02:40] the prophets, evangelists and apostles, the very truth of what he wants us to know and

[00:02:46] what's the ultimate truth that God wants us to know.

[00:02:49] He wants us to know how to be saved and we are saved through faith in Jesus alone.

[00:02:55] It's Christ Jesus who laid down his life for us, it's Christ Jesus who took his life

[00:02:59] back again, it's Christ Jesus who is set up at heaven and promised all those who trust

[00:03:04] in Jesus will, abbey, turn a life and forgiveness of sins and as a result of that, a moral

[00:03:10] foundation based on the Word of God so that it's clear to us what is right and what

[00:03:15] is wrong, what is lawless and what is lawful.

[00:03:19] So there you go.

[00:03:21] As Christ Jesus and the Word of God is compromised more and more and more and more, especially

[00:03:28] here in America we're going to see more and more lawlessness.

[00:03:32] Now why should we be upset?

[00:03:34] We really shouldn't because Jesus said this would happen.

[00:03:39] Here's the bottom line of this devotion.

[00:03:42] I want to continue to pray for revival here in America but it probably won't happen because

[00:03:46] I believe we're in the end days and Jesus said lawlessness and a lack of love for God

[00:03:52] and love for one another is going to continue to happen until Christ comes back.

[00:03:58] So we can pray for revival and I pray for that every day.

[00:04:02] But on the other hand we can say this is kind of a fulfillment of prophecy of what Jesus

[00:04:07] said.

[00:04:08] Jesus said these things would happen before he comes back and guess what?

[00:04:13] It's happening now.

[00:04:15] So remain committed, remain faithful, keep trusting in Jesus, keep declaring what Christ

[00:04:21] is done, continue to be a missionary and an evangelist for the Lord Jesus Christ until

[00:04:27] He calls you home.

[00:04:29] Now I've said it many times and I'll say it again.

[00:04:31] The purpose of life is to know Jesus and to make him known.

[00:04:37] That's more important than how successful you are, how good your family is, how many

[00:04:42] material possessions you have, the most important thing in life is knowing Jesus and making

[00:04:48] him known.

[00:04:49] So much is happening in our culture that's beyond our control.

[00:04:53] Sit back, relax, trust in the Word of God but get the gospel out because what America

[00:04:58] needs more than anything else is Jesus Christ.

[00:05:03] Let me say it again, what America needs more than anything else is Jesus Christ.

[00:05:10] He's a liberator.

[00:05:11] He's the game changer and he will take lawlessness, it's happening here in America and

[00:05:17] make people laughful because they want to honor, obey and submit to the Lord Jesus Christ.

[00:05:24] That is today's daily truth, but I went all over the place today.

[00:05:31] But sometimes I do that.
