[00:00:07] If you went to downtown Boulder I was just at the Pearl Street Mall this morning. My goodness

[00:00:13] that's a beautiful place isn't it? It was pretty empty. Why it's Sunday? Our people

[00:00:21] and church know they're in bed. But if you go down there it's Saturday at 2 o'clock in

[00:00:28] afternoon it's buzzing and if you ask people do you believe in Jesus Christ? Most of them

[00:00:33] would say no. Do you believe there's a heaven and a hell? Most people would say no. Do you

[00:00:42] believe that those who believe in Jesus go to heaven and those who don't go to another place?

[00:00:46] No, I don't believe that. You see for a lot of people it's like a line segment. Maybe we

[00:00:52] talked about this last week. You see a line segment is there's a beginning end point, there's

[00:00:59] a beginning point and end point. That's many people's lives. I'm here, I'm born, I live,

[00:01:06] I die. In the earth the Bible says about that what an empty purposeless, meaningless existence

[00:01:14] that is. St. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15, if we don't believe that Jesus has been raised

[00:01:21] from the dead and that there's life beyond the grave and we too shall be raised from the dead. If

[00:01:26] we don't believe that if Christ has not been raised we are people most too be pitted but we do believe

[00:01:34] in it. Insolvation is a free gift and the proclamation of the gospel is our gift to other people

[00:01:44] so that they too might know the way the truth in the life and that no one gets to have an

[00:01:50] except through faith and faith alone in Jesus Christ. I remember years ago my youngest son was

[00:02:01] about two and we were at a wedding and my wife with a two-year-old she would struggle in church

[00:02:08] like crazy and of course I was doing my things so I really couldn't help. So we're at this wedding

[00:02:12] and Joey is just all over the place he's running down the pews and he's doing all kinds of stuff

[00:02:18] to two-year-olds too and so like I said okay let me let me take him out. I didn't mean kill him let me

[00:02:26] let me take him out of the church and we'll walk down the hall and we'll have him run off some

[00:02:30] energy and so we're at this church Christ Lutheran church in Lincoln Nebraska okay and they have

[00:02:38] a parish hall like we do and in that parish hall they have a contemporary service one Sunday morning

[00:02:43] so we're walking down the hall and he looks inside that parish hall and he sees all those

[00:02:48] all these chairs and he sees the pulpin in the front and he looks at me and he says daddy

[00:02:54] preach okay son go ahead and sit down so I get up there I start to preach I got like

[00:03:05] one sentence into it and he goes that's enough daddy it's my turn so the pulpin is up there and he

[00:03:15] gets this like chair from the side he need I'm just watching me just drags it over there right

[00:03:21] just drags it over there gets his little body up on on the chair his head is like this in the pulpit right okay

[00:03:30] and he says this and Jesus and Jesus and Jesus

[00:03:39] amen it was a best sermon I had ever heard

[00:03:50] salvation is through Jesus and Jesus and Jesus and what we proclaim to world that so

[00:04:02] desperately needs to hear it Jesus and Jesus and Jesus thank you for tuning in to daily
