"Don't Be Alarmed!" | Matthew 24:6

[00:00:19] the game started and I met the opposing coach at midfield. I often times wished that I knew what was going to happen. What the outcome was going to be because if I knew

[00:00:29] it, I'd waken smile at the opposing coach and say, I know how this is all gonna end. And then he said I could sit back or relax not get so wound up not getting anxiety

[00:00:42] written because I knew what the outcome was going to be. Think about that. Knowing what the outcome is going to be. This is what Jesus said in Matthew 24 verse 6, Listen to this, this is talking about the second coming of our Lord Jesus and indications

[00:01:02] signs of his second coming. This is what he says in verse 6 and you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. Oh my goodness the war in Ukraine, the war in Gaza and Israel. I think that North

[00:01:16] Korea has a nuclear bomb. Iran is getting one. Many other nations have nuclear bombs. We hear about it all the time and do you know what? Here's the thing, we can become so anxiety

[00:01:28] written, so overwhelmed with worry and threat. And all of that that we become consumed with it. Listen to what Jesus says as he says these wars and rumors of wars and all these things

[00:01:40] are happening will continue to take place. Then listen to what he says. See, this is going to take place. He says in this verse, it's gonna happen. You can't control it and even God could

[00:01:54] control it but he lets it happen as an indication and sign that his return may be imminent and then this is what he says but the end is not yet and then before that he says see that you're not alarmed.

[00:02:09] What? How many of us are consumed by world events so much? Oh my goodness, is North Korea going to attack us? Is Iran gonna send a bomb over here? Do we have a bomb? We have the shield to protect

[00:02:23] us and we can become so alarmed by that but Jesus says don't worry about it. I've got it all under control. These are just signs, indications, things that will happen to show that my return

[00:02:39] may be just around the corner. Listen to me folks, you don't need to be worried. You don't need to be alarmed like Bill McCartney who wish that he knew what the outcome of a football game was going

[00:02:53] to be. You know what the outcome of the second coming of Christ is gonna be. We win! We're gonna be victorious. We're gonna be elevated. The glorious status of being called children of God and all

[00:03:06] of this stuff will cease until then. Keep your faith. Keep trusting in Jesus. Sit back, relax. We know how it's all gonna end. We will be victorious and so when you hear wars and rumors

[00:03:24] of wars, as Jesus says that lift up your eyes for your salvation may indeed be drawing near. And remember what we're gonna say when Jesus comes back both believers and non-believers like

[00:03:40] you remember what we're gonna say here it is blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord and He will come to take us home. Let that sink in. Don't be alarmed when you watch Fox and see an anner,

[00:04:03] whatever it is, and you hear of another war. Hey! Like they say, New York hey, don't worry about it. Jesus says this is gonna take place. Don't be of it. And that is today's daily truth have a great day
