An Attitude of Joy!

[00:00:00] We'll truth, Daily. This is Daily Truths with Dave Ahlman Everybody I had the hip surgery today it went very well on the road recovery

[00:00:12] Unfortunately I keep in the hospital for this night but I'm good so yesterday I went to see a lady by the name of Carol Fitzhimmins She lost her house because she had to move from it and it up to go therapy and then went to a nursing home

[00:00:29] She is the most positive person I've ever met A lot of times when people go to nursing homes or maybe the hospital they complain about things and complain about the food and complain about the treatment So she just Carol is just so positive about her experience at Morningstar

[00:00:49] I think his name is actually Lung My Life Center Every time I see her I say how you do and she's such a great She has roommate she can't walk very well Of course the food and nursing home is not very good

[00:01:03] I gotta tell you I asked her she's so positive this is the way she responded to one of the questions I said Carol how is the food here and you know she said It's good I know she wanted to say something different but she didn't

[00:01:20] This is what the book of Philippians Chapter 4 verse 4 and verse 8 says Rejoice the Lord always again. I'll say it. Rejoice There are many times when Carol yesterday when I asked her how she's doing She just thank God she prays God for his presence and peace in her life

[00:01:41] She talked openly and honestly about the fact that he's with her That he's giving her strength to cope with whatever adversity comes her way I mean she gave a sterling testimony for Christ Philippians 4-8 also says this Whatever is true honorable right pure lovely and good report

[00:02:00] Let your mind think about those things Remember years ago probably you're going at a devotion about a Nicolot Paganini It was playing a violin and the strings broken he improvised on the one string The one string we can always play is Philippians 4-4

[00:02:18] Rejoice and Lord always again I say it. Rejoice Then Philippians 4-8 that says, you know let your mind fix on these things We are surrounded by negativity surrounded by things that are going wrong in our culture and country

[00:02:32] But you can focus on that or you can choose to focus on the providential grace filled presence of God So I'd encourage you to do that. Sorry this DT was so short I'm kind of loopy
