[00:00:00] We'll truth, Daily. This is Daily Truths with Dave Ahlman. The Lord will be with me. I love what Jesus said in the great commission, at the end of the great commission. He said these words, law him with you always, even at the very end of the age.
[00:00:40] Whatever we face in life and you've heard me say this many times, whatever we face in life, we never face it alone. In the highs and lows and peaks and valleys, the triumphs and the traumas of life.
[00:00:52] The Lord Jesus is with us. He never abandons or forsakes us. He says, I will carry you. I will lift you up when things are so difficult and you don't know where to turn, turn to me.
[00:01:06] I will give you strength the persevere. Now, I'm not worried about my surgery tomorrow. I'm really not. Here's the thing. I remember a guy told me when he was going into surgery.
[00:01:16] He said, if I make it, praise me to God. If I don't make it, praise me to God. You were saying, if I don't make it, I'm going to be with Jesus.
[00:01:27] If I do make it, I'm going to be with my loved ones and Jesus will be with me just the same. I love that. What a great statement. So remember that, my friends. Remember that whatever we face in life,
[00:01:40] we never, ever, ever go through those things by ourselves. Jesus loves us. Jesus is with us. Jesus never abandons or forsakes us. He's by our side. He's upon the plane. He's in our tomorrows.
[00:01:54] He carries our sorrows. He forgives our sins. He opens the gates of eternal life to all those who trust in him. My goodness, what a God. What a Savior we serve. And that's what I know as I hit into surgery tomorrow.
