What Will We Say When Jesus Comes Back? | Matthew 23:39

[00:00:00] We'll Truth Daily This Is Daily Truths with Dave Ahlman. Speak at all. What Will We Say When Jesus Comes Back? Is that song correct? Will we dance? Will we stand in awe? Will we say anything at all? Did you know that the Bible answers

[00:00:46] that question? Well, we will say when Jesus comes back in Matthew chapter 23, Jesus says this to the Pharisees and he says this in preparation for his second coming. Basically saying I'm standing in front of you now, you're not going to see me again until I come

[00:01:04] back again and glory. This is what he says in verse 39, right? Tell you, you will not see me again until you say blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Now we know

[00:01:17] that that was said on Palm Sunday, but Jesus is talking about here his second coming. The next time the Pharisees, Sadducy's describes, we'll see Jesus. He's not going to appear before them at Jerusalem ever again the next time they see him is when he comes

[00:01:33] back and their bodies are raised and then they will say blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, but they won't say it under their own salvation. They'll say it under

[00:01:44] their own damn nation. Flip is chapter two says this that when Christ comes back every nation bow in heaven on earth and under the earth and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, what's that saying? Both believers and unbelievers alike when Christ comes

[00:02:03] back will say blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. In other words, you're the Messiah, you're the King, you're the Lord, you're the King of kings and Lord of lords and every person who's ever lived somewhat 16 billion strong will all acknowledge

[00:02:21] Jesus as Lord Savior, Redeemer, King and all of us together will say blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. But for unbelievers, Pharisees, scribes and Sadducy's they will say it under their own damn nation. But what about us who are believers? We're going to

[00:02:38] say it under our own salvation. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. He's going to take me home. I'm going to live in his presence and all those things that are

[00:02:48] talked about in the song I can only imagine will come true, but the thing we will say with unbelievers as blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. So I answer the question

[00:03:01] will we say anything when Jesus comes back? Yes, we'll say blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. The very same thing that people said on Pum Sunday when Jesus wrote

[00:03:12] triumph, Lee and Jerusalem. Okay. So what do we do until Christ comes back? Well, we daily repent of our sin and put our trust in Jesus. We serve Him, we honor Him, we obey His word

[00:03:26] and we look for opportunities to testify of what He has done, right? This is how we live out our life until Christ comes back. And then when He does come back and hopefully He'll come

[00:03:37] back in our lifetime and with the way things are happening both in the geopolitical world here in the United States, but also all around the world, the wars and rulers of wars and all

[00:03:47] that in Israel and you crane it all that. Maybe Jesus is going to come back in our lifetime and when He does what we say blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. I don't know
