Church and Car Wash | DT On The Run!

[00:00:00] We'll truth, Daily This is Daily Truths with Dave Ahlman Hi everybody, I'm in a car wash right now. Hey, I want to ask you if I said okay I'm going to give my car a wash once a year

[00:00:20] Oh, I'm going to give my car a wash like Christmas and Easter Would that be enough? No, it gets dirty all the time after washing just about every week Right, but sometimes people say I can go to church, you know, once with my two years

[00:00:35] Because I just don't get that dirty. We do get dirty We get dirty from our sin and so to go to church and receive this sacrament To confess our sins and be absorbed To hear the proclamation of the Word of God

[00:00:47] As shorting this that we're forgiven for the sake of Jesus It's necessary on a weekly basis I've got one of these wonderful car washes where you pay one fee like a flat fee of 20 bucks

[00:00:59] For the month that I can go whenever I want so every time I get dirty I bring it in every time we dirty ourselves It didn't sound quite right, but we dirty ourselves because of our sin

[00:01:10] Right, we go to church to receive the absolution and consolation that comes from the Word and sacrament So a lot in common car washes and church Go to church regularly Receive the cleansing the cups from Word and Sacrament
