[00:00:00] We'll Truth Daily This is Daily Truths with Dave Ahlman. So, finally, the day comes when our son is ready to be delivered. And so we're in the hospital and my wife is really feeling a lot of pain.

[00:00:38] But I didn't talk about pain because I told her to breathe. She had her pillow and all that kind of stuff. And things were heightening and intensifying. And I looked at her and I said, honey, breathe, breathe.

[00:00:49] Do you're breathing exercises? Oh, honey, do you feel a little bit of pressure? And she grabbed my shirt. I think I shared this story before. She grabbed my shirt and she said, this is anything but pressure. Listen to this text. This is amazing.

[00:01:09] Now we've talked about Jesus saying as things escalate here on planet earth before his second coming, there's going to be earthquakes and pestilences and famines. And wars and rumors of war and nation rising up against nation and kingdom against kingdom and all that.

[00:01:26] And this is what Jesus said, all these are but the beginning of the birth pains. So we're going through all of that now and remember we said maybe a day or two ago that there's been more of that

[00:01:39] the last hundred years and all the other years up until a hundred years ago, combine. So we're getting closer and closer to the second coming of Jesus Christ. But here is the thing. This is what we need to remember when a mother has a child

[00:01:53] and the baby is finally delivered. And the baby is in her arms. She talks nothing about the birth pains. It's almost like she's forgotten about a lot because the culmination of all the pain has been realized

[00:02:06] in the whole thing of that precious little baby that God has bestowed. So it is with us. We might be talking about the birth pains now and our difficulty is difficult to watch, difficult to see, difficult to experience.

[00:02:20] But the big thing to remember is when Christ comes back and we're elevated to his glory or standing in his presence and we're saying blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. The birth pains will be forgotten, right? It's going to be awesome.

[00:02:36] And right now we're in those birth pains that it's painful and difficult and challenging and trying and perplexing and sometimes we look at what we say when Lord Jesus, when will you come and like the end of the book or revelation?

[00:02:48] We want to say even so Lord Jesus quickly come but when He does, the birth pains will be over, will be holding the baby so as to be really Jesus will be holding us, will be in His presence forever and everything about the birth pains will be forgotten.

[00:03:05] So hang on, keep your faith, things are difficult around us I know and this is anything but pressure, but when Jesus comes back it will all be forgotten. Thank you Jesus for that wonderful day of deliverance that is coming our way someday.

[00:03:32] And that is today's Daily Truth. Have a great day in the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for tuning in to Daily Truths with Dave Olman. Pastor Dave Olman is the pastor of Mount Ho Church in Boulder, Colorado.
