You Got Stuff In Your Hair!

[00:00:07] Hi everybody, yesterday I was getting ready to go camping with my wife and so I had

[00:00:12] pulled some beds out of our pop-up camper and I was pushing him back into the camper itself

[00:00:17] and it was right next to our tree near our driveway and saw my hair brushed up against the

[00:00:23] stream all this stuff out of nowhere it is all this stuff fell into my hair unbeknownst to me

[00:00:28] So I pack it up you know and I go to the store this convenience store to get some

[00:00:32] propane for our camper, you know so I go in and I pay for the propane and the guy they

[00:00:38] attend and there's his asser can I tell you that you have some stuff in your hair

[00:00:44] it looks like it's from a tree or something and I said I do and he said yeah

[00:00:48] and he's so I did this you know and oh you got a little more hair and so I did it

[00:00:52] a little more right there and he so I got it off and a little more right there okay

[00:00:56] so I got it off so there's like 30 pieces of leaf or whatever was that came from the

[00:01:02] tree I was so glad that this guy had enough guts to tell me what I look like you know

[00:01:10] who has enough guts to tell us what we look like spiritually God in his word he

[00:01:18] tells us you're a sinner through and through you've messed up you've broken my

[00:01:23] commands you've fallen short of my glory here's what's wrong with you sometimes

[00:01:29] your envious and jealous or angry or boastful or vindictive or spiteful or idolatrous

[00:01:34] or covetous or you bare false witness against other people or sometimes you

[00:01:39] have him pure thoughts it's like he's saying oh you got stuff in your hair you

[00:01:43] gotta get it out and so God is telling us we got stuff in our life that we

[00:01:48] got to get out and how do we get it out we confess our sin we acknowledge what God

[00:01:54] tells us what's wrong with us and what's wrong with us is that we're sinners

[00:01:59] and because we're sinners and he tells us that clearly it's like he's the

[00:02:04] attendant at the convenience store saying ah you got stuff in your hair there

[00:02:08] are some things you need to remove that's what God tells us in his word

[00:02:11] there's some things going wrong in your life there's some sin that you're

[00:02:15] carrying out you need to confess it you need to acknowledge it you need to

[00:02:19] need to give it to me and I will place it on my son that's what God is saying

[00:02:24] and that's what he did with our sin he laid it on Jesus because he laid it

[00:02:28] on Jesus we're in a good and right and a holy relationship with God where the

[00:02:35] blunders of the the stuff of our hair of our life is gone and we're forgiven

[00:02:42] and headed to heaven so that's why you know it's funny some of these

[00:02:47] churches are around today they don't like to tell people that stuff in their

[00:02:50] hair they don't like to offend anybody they don't want to say anything that

[00:02:56] might make people feel guilty oh my goodness friends we need to feel guilty

[00:03:01] because word guilty is charged it's like God is saying that stuff in your hair

[00:03:06] okay we remove it by confession and faith in Jesus who died and rose

[00:03:11] again so that we can spend eternity with God that's so guy I hope you're

[00:03:16] part of a church where the pastor doesn't pull any punches right he preaches

[00:03:20] God's word in this truth and purity and basically says you got stuff in your

[00:03:24] hair oh thanks be to God our stuff and our hair has been removed by Jesus have a

[00:03:34] great day in the Lord Jesus Christ and that is today's daily truth thank you
