We are flawed....And Make God Laugh

[00:00:00] We'll truth, Daily...This is Daily Truths with Dave Ahlman Hi everybody, welcome back to Daily Truths. Sometimes when I watch our grandkids especially if they're like two or a hundred some of the stuff they do or say and you're probably

[00:00:16] the same way if you have little kids or grandkids you look at them and you just got a laugh, you just got to smile it's so incredibly cute and oftentimes very funny.

[00:00:25] Okay, so the other day I was at Home Depot. I was parked in this spot that you see in the picture in front of you. I went in to get my stuff. I came back to my car and

[00:00:36] you see there's like a peninsula sticking out just to the right of where I parked. In front of me was a boulevard, like a sidewalk boulevard. I had forgotten completely. I couldn't

[00:00:47] see either one of them when I got back in the car, okay? So I backed up. I turned the wheels to the left of the back out like you do because you're going to turn into the area where

[00:00:57] you want to get out. I turned and what happened? My tire went on that peninsula that you see right? It went on the peninsula. I thought, what in the world I had forgotten was

[00:01:06] there. Okay, so oh no, I got to go back forward. You know, I got to get off this peninsula. I got to go back forward because I can't back up like that again. And so I get back

[00:01:15] into the parking spot and I see that ahead of me, there's no car. I don't remember the sidewalk boulevard is there. So what do I do now? I go over the sidewalk boulevard.

[00:01:26] No, my front two wheels are on that sidewalk boulevard. Okay, oh my goodness. And so I thought, okay, I got to back up, you know. And what do I do I back up? And I turn my wheel again to

[00:01:38] the left and I'm back on the peninsula. Meanwhile, these people are walking at a home depot. I'm looking at them and they are laughing profusely. They see that I'm looking at them

[00:01:55] and they're going, it was hilarious. But I don't believe they were the only ones laughing at me. I think God was laughing at me too. I think we do funny things that makes the father laugh right?

[00:02:13] But you know what he doesn't laugh at, but rather deals with it according to his love and mercy and grace. He doesn't laugh at our sin. You know what he does do? He takes our sin and he gives

[00:02:25] it to his son. And his son makes it his own and goes to the cross and dies for it. And then God's love and mercy and grace is upon us through faith in what Christ is done. And then we can just

[00:02:37] receive that by faith and just pass again, rejoice in and live in the grace of God. I hope this little devotion today made you laugh. I bet you were laughing at it because I bet you've done

[00:02:50] this same thing. Have a great day in the Lord Jesus Christ and pass in the love, the mercy and the grace of our Lord Jesus. The Lord looks at you and he smiles at you because of his amazing astounding
