[00:00:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Hi everybody, welcome back to Daily Truths. Do you see that sign there?

[00:00:11] [SPEAKER_01]: No parking anytime now. Let me pan back here.

[00:00:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay now take a look at this.

[00:00:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay that car, that car, that car.

[00:00:21] [SPEAKER_01]: There's no parking signs all along here.

[00:00:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm at a swim meet in Thornton here today

[00:00:27] [SPEAKER_01]: and the sign clearly says, hey don't park here!

[00:00:31] [SPEAKER_01]: And guess what people are doing?

[00:00:33] [SPEAKER_01]: They're parking there anyway.

[00:00:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Understanding that there probably won't be any punishment.

[00:00:37] [SPEAKER_01]: With all these cars parking here, and by the way it's not just there.

[00:00:40] [SPEAKER_01]: It's all the way down the line.

[00:00:42] [SPEAKER_01]: There's no parking signs all the way along here.

[00:00:45] [SPEAKER_01]: And everybody is just going to end parking anyway.

[00:00:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Now here's the deal.

[00:00:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Is anything gonna happen to them?

[00:00:51] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean probably not.

[00:00:54] [SPEAKER_01]: They're probably not gonna be punished.

[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_01]: They probably won't get a ticket.

[00:00:56] [SPEAKER_01]: They probably won't be towed away.

[00:00:58] [SPEAKER_01]: You know they're probably getting a pass today.

[00:01:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay now here's the thing.

[00:01:03] [SPEAKER_01]: God has given us His laws and the laws are the 10 commandments.

[00:01:06] [SPEAKER_01]: And sometimes, oftentimes we disobey them.

[00:01:10] [SPEAKER_01]: But guess what?

[00:01:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Because we have faith in Jesus.

[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Because He died and rose again.

[00:01:16] [SPEAKER_01]: We get a pass on judgment day.

[00:01:18] [SPEAKER_01]: There's no impending doom.

[00:01:20] [SPEAKER_01]: There's no day of judgment.

[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_01]: There's no like casting into hell

[00:01:24] [SPEAKER_01]: because of our transgressions.

[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_01]: God tells us through the no parking sign

[00:01:29] [SPEAKER_01]: of the 10 commandments not to disobey His laws

[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_01]: and we still do out of weakness.

[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_01]: And yes sometimes even intentionally.

[00:01:37] [SPEAKER_01]: But guess what?

[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_01]: When Christ comes back because He received the judgment

[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_01]: and the punishment and the wrath of God in our place

[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_01]: on Calvary's cross, we are forgiven.

[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_01]: We're children of God.

[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_01]: We'll be ushered home eternally to be with Him.

[00:01:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Why? Because Christ paid the price.

[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_01]: He's the one that paid the penalty for our transgressions

[00:02:00] [SPEAKER_01]: and He did it at the cross.

[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_01]: And as a result of that, no day of wrath,

[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_01]: no day of doom will be with Jesus forever

[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_01]: because He paid the price.

[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Thanks be to God for the ultimate gift of salvation

[00:02:16] [SPEAKER_01]: which Jesus earned for us through His life,

[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_01]: death and resurrection.

[00:02:20] [SPEAKER_01]: And that is today's daily truth.
