Infirmities...Infirmities....Infirmities

[00:00:43] that dot and I can't see the video that I'm performing on here. I can't see it unless really well, unless I do this. Now I can see oil, but you know, can you imagine if I did the whole video like this? Hi everybody, welcome back to Daily Truths.

[00:01:04] Pastor Dave, you're so silly. Yeah. So anyway, why am I sharing that? Well, the older we get, the more infirmities we have, the more struggles we have physically. You know, I'm sure I'm talking

[00:01:19] to people. I guess the average age of people who watch DT is 65 or something. So the older we get, the more things heard and so I have to be more vestidious about exercising, uniting,

[00:01:30] ride and making sure I get plenty of sleep so that my body, the temple of God, feels as good as it possibly can under the circumstances. But it still stings getting older, right?

[00:01:43] You can't see as well, you can't hear as well, things don't function as well. I mean, it's not easy. So why is that? Well, you know why? It's part of the impact of sin

[00:01:55] and because sin has infected all of us and impacted all of us, our bodies are deteriorating. But here is the incredible thing that the Bible tells us that when Christ comes back, our bodies

[00:02:07] will be transformed to live in the presence of God. They'll be changed from being in formative based, being sinful based to no sin and no infirmities. Man, that's something to look forward to. That's why when Christ comes back, descending on clouds of glory and our eyes are lifted

[00:02:27] up and we say salvation is drawing near, then our bodies will be changed in a flash in the twinkling of an eye at the last trumpet sound. That's going to be great. I can't wait and I know you can't wait either. But until then, we struggle with these

[00:02:44] bodies that can't see as well and here as well. Oh, by the way, I got hearing aids. You know what? I lost them. And they're like $1500. Okay, I'm going to wait for a while.

[00:02:59] I'm so forgetful and don't pay attention to detail. That's why have a lot of people helping me with DTs. I can keep stuff together. That's another one of my infirmities. No detail orientation.

[00:03:15] All right, enough silliness. Have a great day in the Lord Jesus Christ. And we're all getting older and that's not easy, but we look forward to a new heaven, a new earth, and a new day when Jesus makes
